Day 11 - A Year in the Life

What's that you say? A hip-hop song on an acoustic-rock record? Well now nobody can say I'm stuck in one genre. A Year in the Life is a rap about teaching in an urban setting. Its about the challenges my kids faced everyday and how I responded to them as an outsider brought very much inside of their lives. Features a orchestral sampling like any good rap song should and beats and bass from the keyboard. Different, but sometimes different is good.
