A wonderful tradition began on June 27, 2002. Gabe and I began celebrating the end of the work week by a warlike cry of Freedom and then we would sing songs centered around said theme. As we've grown more accustomed to our jobs and/or my work week has continued into the weekend, our proclamations of freedom have become few and far between. But yesterday all returned to form. Yes it was yesterday that I finally got over the hump. Fall is officially over!! FREEDOM.
So now that I'm on vacation in Phoenix I've gotten around to thinking a bit about the best vacations of all time. One such trip that popped into my mind is the legendary Senior Spring Break Cruise trip. From counting waffle houses on the way down, Jai Alai in Miami, SouthBeach, Kareoke, to winning the John Travolta dance contest on board the lovely Norweigian, this trip was jammed full of fun and good memories. The best part though, besides free room service and the on board casino that took me to town, was the fact that the cruise channel replayed the highlights of the trip throughout our journey. So my friend Steve who had mono at the time was forced to watch my victory in the dance contest he guessed well over 14 times. That's Entertainment!
Well its 9am, warm, and it's not raining. So I'm going outside! Somebody say hello to winter for me.
